The Proposal
Craft as Care
Healing Hands brings our Sunday Workshop model to Brownsville youth: a series of Eastern-handicraft workshops — paper arts, fiber, and making traditions carried across generations — co-led with licensed art-therapy leadership, so the making is also a practice of attention, patience, and repair.
Where it stands: the funding proposal has been submitted; a decision is expected in early 2027. Dates, venue, and registration will be posted here and on the Calendar the moment the program is confirmed. This page will grow with the project — application first, then the work itself.
